About Rajasthan
Rajasthan is a north-western state of India. The western side of the state shares a land border with Pakistan. It is also called the Thar Desert — an area covered by huge shifting sand dunes. The state shares borders with Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh.
Rajasthan is the largest state of India by area, known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant folk traditions, majestic forts and palaces, and a warm, hospitable people.
